Acceptance of Terms
By using the NOVA mobile application operated by 1bfixer, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application or related services.
Service Description
NOVA is a home services marketplace that connects customers with independent home repair professionals. The platform may also provide AI-assisted issue descriptions, scheduling features, estimates, notifications, and payment-related workflows.
Eligibility and Accounts
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and using the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
SMS Communications
By using the NOVA mobile application, you agree to receive service-related SMS notifications. NOVA is operated by KHUDYNA LLC.
Consent and Registration
Users provide their phone number during account registration in the NOVA app and must explicitly consent to receive SMS messages. Consent is collected via a required checkbox that users must accept before continuing.
The consent text states: "I agree to receive SMS messages from NOVA for account verification and service updates. Message and data rates may apply."
Users cannot proceed without providing consent.
Message Types
These messages are strictly transactional and include account verification codes, service updates, technician arrival notifications, and payment confirmations. No marketing messages are sent.
Message frequency varies based on user activity.
Opt-Out and Support
Users can reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS messages or reply HELP for support. For assistance, contact support@1bfixer.com or call +1 708-640-7474.
Payments
Service fees, deposits, and final payment amounts may be shown in the application before confirmation. Payments are processed through supported payment providers. By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable charges for approved services.
Cancellations and Changes
Appointments, estimates, and service requests may be cancelled or modified depending on the status of the order. Additional fees or restrictions may apply based on the stage of service and technician assignment.
Marketplace Role
NOVA operates as a platform connecting users with independent service professionals. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, service professionals are not employees of NOVA. NOVA does not guarantee the quality, timing, legality, or outcome of services provided by third parties.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOVA and 1bfixer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the application, platform interruptions, service disputes, or third-party professional conduct.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
